Hall of Famer Ted Williams highlights a class of unrivaled ballplayers alongside Roger Clemens and Manny Ramirez, and introduces Negro Leagues legends James “Cool Papa” Bell and Wilber “Bullet Joe” Rogan. Ted Williams played his entire 19-year MLB career with the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960. In that time, Williams garnered an astonishing list of achievements:

• 6 American League Batting Titles
• .406 average in the 1941 season, becoming the last big leaguer to reach the .400 mark
• .482 career on-base percentage is the best of all time

Williams was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
