Dev Blog: Updates to Parallel Mods in Diamond Dynasty

First and foremost, we want to thank our fans for all the feedback around PXP 2.0 and the Parallel Mods system. It’s been awesome seeing the conversation and different approaches to which Mods have been equipped to the player items we release in Diamond Dynasty.
We have seen the feedback about Silver and Gold Parallel Mods not feeling as useful or necessary to equip when the player card has reached Parallel 2 and Parallel 4, leading our fans to unequip the mods for the flat +2/+4 boosts. Coming into the year, a main focus point with Parallel Mods was preserving strong gameplay balance and not creating an overpowered system.
Because of this, we wanted to give the system a lot of time to play out before making any buffs which could throw the system into an unbalanced state or create an unexpected meta.
With our content update today, we will give buffs to all Silver and Gold Parallel Mods.
These buffs will be marginal, but we hope they give our fans more reasons to have a mod equipped at Parallel 2 and 4 on player cards.
We will continue to monitor performance and feedback surrounding Parallel Mods with these buffs and make updates as needed.
