MLB® The Show™ 25 Early Access starts today, March 14th, and it’s your chance to get a jump on the competition this year. Get ready to experience all new Modes, Programs, Events, Packs, and Player Items as you step onto the diamond this year. With so much new content for you to enjoy during Early Access, we thought now would be a good time to give you a rundown on what you can expect to find so that you can take a lead on your opponents before MLB The Show 25’s Full Launch on March 18th. Relive baseball history in Storylines: The Negro Leagues – Season 3. Experience the career highlights of Negro Leagues Legends James “Cool Papa” Bell, Wilber “Bullet Joe” Rogan, and Norman “Turkey” Stearnes through a blend of gameplay, historic footage, and informative storytelling as you complete historic moments featuring these legends to your Diamond Dynasty lineup.
Try out Diamond Quest, a brand-new roguelike board game mode, where rewards are yours to earn through Moments, boss encounters, and more. Select a quest with the chance rewards you’re looking to earn then discover encounters & treasure, and win stadiums to get your mitts on those rewards. Escape your Diamond Quest by defeating stadium challenges on the board but remember, losing a stadium challenge will result in you forfeiting your quest and all of the treasure earned.

As you work your way through the Team Affinity: My Journey Programs, try your hand at each of the 30 Jolt Moments featuring team specific Jolt Series bosses in some of their most memorable plays on your way to earning each player card.
Compete against online opponents in Solo (1 vs 1) or Co-Op (2 vs 2 & 3 vs 3) with your best squad. Draft a 26-player team and rack up wins against online opponents, while avoiding elimination at 2 losses, to earn rewards in Battle Royale 1. Can you go 10-0 and get your mitts on the BR Flawless Choice Pack and pick between featured players 2nd Half Heroes Series Lance Berkman (87 OVR) and All-Star Series Rich Gossage (87 OVR).
Step up to the plate in the Cactus League Event, where teams from the Arizona Spring Training circuit (AZ, ATH, CHC, CHW, CIN, CLE, COL, KC, LAA, LAD, MIL, SD, SEA, SF, TEX) take center stage! Compete at Date Palm Field with rosters featuring players from Cactus League teams and select Pipeline, Spring Breakout & Jolt Series cards to earn repeatable rewards before double elimination.
The Starter Program, available in Assorted Programs, tasks you with completing Moments, Missions, a Collection, and a Showdown, as well as exchanging Live Series player items, to earn rewards including 20th Anniversary Series Gunnar Henderson (80 OVR), Elly De La Cruz (80 OVR), Paul Skenes (80 OVR), and Roger Clemens (83 OVR).
Try your hand at Moments and Missions, including PXP, Pipeline Series, and Stat Missions, as well as the Pipeline Series Collection and optional Pipeline Pack Collections to earn Pipeline Series player items including:

Collect Live Series player items from all 30 MLB teams in the Live Series Collections to earn some of the best cards yet in MLB The Show 25 including 2nd Half Heroes Series Reggie Sanders (88 OVR), Standout Series Paul O’Neill (90 OVR), Rookie Series Fernando Valenzuela (92 OVR) just to name a few.
Mini Seasons pit you against 8 teams found in the fictional “Global Baseball League” in 28, 3-Inning games in either a themed or classic format. Play the New Year New Series themed season, where all teams must build their squad following the theme of only using player items from new series found in MLB The Show 25. While in Classic Season, you’ll build your best squad and CPU teams use rosters based on real world Diamond Dynasty players. Complete Season specific goals to earn packs, stubs, unlockables, players items, and other rewards only found in Mini Seasons.
Conquest mode is back, and you already know the deal. Take turns in the four phases of action (Attack, Steal, Reinforce, & Move) as you work to dominate the map for a chance to earn rewards. Start your journey with the Batter Up 1, 2, & 3 Conquest Maps to get your bearings while earning XP and Stubs. Move on to the U.S.A. West, Central & East Conquest Maps to earn exclusive player items to collect in the Legends & Flashbacks Pipeline Collection. When you’re ready, try not to get stuck by the Cactus Conquest Map for a chance to earn XP, packs, Stubs, & more.
Challenge of the Week returns, and it remains the place for you to earn amazing rewards from official gear including bats, balls, and jerseys authentically signed by some of your favorite players to always useful Stubs. Challenge of the Week 1 features 7-time Cy Young Winner Roger Clemens going up against 9-time Silver Slugger Manny Ramirez.
Cornerstone Evolution Programs, available in Assorted Programs, challenge you to complete tasks exclusive to specific featured players to earn Program Stars necessary to progress in each program’s reward path where you’ll unlock player items, packs, Stubs, and more. Unlock Silver player items from the 1st Inning Cornerstone Evolution Choice Pack available in the 1st Inning XP Reward Path. Use the specific player Silver card to begin the first steps along your journey to earning that player’s Cornerstone Series player item. Find the Dick Allen, Ubaldo Jimenez, and Bobby Abreu Cornerstone Evolution Programs available through the 1st Inning XP Reward Path.
My Legacy Programs, available in Assorted Programs, let you build your legacy your way. Track your Diamond Dynasty stats like home runs, stolen bases, wins, etc. and challenge MLB’s greatest records to earn Program Stars good towards unlocking exclusive rewards. My Legacy Programs let you earn for simply doing what you love most…playing MLB The Show 25.
