MLB The Show 25 arrives on PlayStation Tournaments
MLB The Show is back on PlayStation Tournaments and bigger than ever. Compete in daily tournaments for Stubs, PS5 Tournaments Packs, and exclusive avatars!
We’re starting things off with a series of beta tournaments during Early Access, same daily schedule as launch. From March 14th to March 17th, try out the new tournaments feature and every player who wins in a tournament will take home a PlayStation Esports Beta Avatar.
Tournaments kick off for real on launch day March 18th, and we’ll have daily tournaments all year, with increased prizing from 2024! Look out for the Celebration Series, where we’ll celebrate special moments in baseball – and sometimes just because – with special tournaments with unique themes and exclusive prizes! The first Celebration Series, the Coach Classic, runs from April 21st to April 27th.

How to play on PS5
To sign up on PS5, navigate to the MLB The Show 25 Game Hub on your PS5 home screen and scroll down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel. Select a tournament that fits your schedule, and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded, and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final! Tournament details will be listed on the tournament card!

How to change your PSN Avatar
To change your PSN Avatar on your PS5 console, open Settings and select Users and Accounts. From the Users and Accounts page, select Profile followed by Avatar. On the Avatar page, look for your MLB The Show avatar and select it. Confirm that you’d like to change it, and you’re good to go!
