In MLB The Show 26, we’re giving you more control in your Front Office Experience with a new Trade Hub, overhauled trade logic, smarter opposing general managers, and more.
Franchise Mode – New Ways to Improve Your Team as a GM
With the new Trade Hub, we’ve built a one-stop shop experience for all your wheeling and dealing, plus the logic across the entire trade landscape has been updated. You’ll have a more complex and realistic picture that takes into account season standings, rivalries, market size, position availability, and more. These changes make for the most realistic and interesting GM experience yet in MLB The Show.
Massive updates were made to the Lineup and Rotation Logic in Franchise. We’ve updated the batting orders and pitching rotations, so they’re more accurate to current MLB lineup trends. You’re not just going to see speedy guys in the 1-hole anymore. In addition, the development team incorporated secondary positions into roster decisions, so you get the most value from your roster.
Overall, expect more dynamic factors surrounding trades and greater customization, like the ability to streamline your level of participation. Improved player valuations, rumors, and pending offers now impact player contract negotiations. Oh, and did we mention that we added another trade slot? Now you can make up to 4 for 4 trades inside MLB The Show 26!
The Front Office is now under your control. We can’t wait to see what big moves you’ll make in The Show.

MLB The Show 26 is available to pre-order now in the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. Want Early Access? Choose the Digital Deluxe Edition and start playing on March 13th, 2026 – four full days before the official release on March 17th. Plenty of time to get those reps in and build an edge that will carry you through the season.
