Every year, we set out to create a playlist that reflects the culture of the game, its history, and its global reach. This season’s soundtrack once again blends Hip-Hop, Latin, Rock, Soul, and R&B, setting the vibe whether you’re grinding through Diamond Dynasty*, building a championship team in Franchise, or carving your path to Cooperstown in Road to Tthe Show. 

The core soundtrack brings together a dynamic mix that mirrors the diversity of the baseball community. Rock energy reverberates through tracks like The Afghan Whigs’ “House of I” and Been Stellar’s “Always On My Mind,” while you feel the blues in Marcus King’s “Honky Tonk Hell”. Global rhythms shine in Bomba Estéreo & Carlos Vives’ “La Samaria” and Buju Banton’s “Champion,” giving The Show’s playlist an international spark. From high-energy anthems to smooth, groove-heavy tracks, every song was chosen to keep you locked in from first pitch to final out. 

Music is the soul and foundation of Storylines: The Negro Leagues Season 4 * , and we continue telling the incredible stories of overlooked legends. Tracks are woven directly into the experience, helping bring these journeys of triumph over adversity to life. Rakim’s “When I B On Tha Mic”  and Durand Jones & The Indications’ “Morning in America” underscore moments of greatness, while standouts like Dear Silas’ “Baptized In Colard Greens”  and Aaron Frazer’s “If I Got It (Your Love Brought It)” complement the infectious story telling of Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Hits like Rauw Alejandro’s “Tu Con El” and W Sound, Beéle, Ovy On The Drums’ “La Plena – W Sound 05” bring the Latin flair. Music can swiftly propel a narrative forward or slow it down; it elevates the dialogue and helps create an emotional link between the screen, the controller, and the audience.
