These comparisons will appear during batter walk-ups and pitcher introductions once a card reaches a set usage threshold, adding an extra layer of excitement to every at-bat. Plus, we’ve added on-screen milestone alerts, so when you crush your 100th home run, rack up 1,000 strikeouts, or hit another major milestone, you’ll get the recognition you deserve. Whether it’s home runs, doubles, stolen bases, or strikeouts, you can now show off your dominance and flex on your opponents like never before, making every game feel even more rewarding and competitive!

New Camera Scenes

Sports broadcasts are bringing fans closer to the action than ever before, and we wanted to do the same in MLB® The Show™ 25. This year, we introduced a virtual camera during our motion capture sessions, allowing us to film scenes from right inside the action, just like you’d see on a real MLB broadcast. The result? A more natural, immersive, and cinematic feel that puts you right on the field with the players. We loved the effect so much that we went back and remastered many older sequences, ensuring that every moment feels more dynamic and true to life than ever before!

New Stadium Exteriors

Stadium shots are a staple of every MLB broadcast, capturing the energy and atmosphere of game day in the city. Over the past few years, we’ve been steadily adding more detailed and dynamic exterior shots, and MLB® The Show™ 25 continues that trend with 20 stadium exteriors available at launch. Some of the newest additions include Oriole Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore), Progressive Field (Cleveland), Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles), loanDepot park (Miami), and Globe Life Field (Texas). These breathtaking shots make every game feel like a true television broadcast, setting the stage before first pitch and immersing you in the heart of each ballpark’s unique atmosphere!

Revamped No Doubt Home Run Presentations

A Perfect-Perfect swing isn’t just about crushing a pitch—it’s about the moment, the swagger, and the celebration that follows. In MLB® The Show™ 25, we’ve revamped No-Doubt Home Run presentations with all-new camera angles that showcase bat flips in all their glory while also giving you a clear look at just how far your moonshot traveled. Amateur Years

With the introduction of the Amateur Experience in Road to the Show, we’ve packed in hundreds of new presentations and over 800 lines of immersive commentary to bring your journey to life. From high school to college, the broadcast team follows your rise, covering everything from your Senior Day and State Championship run to draft projections and college recruitment based on your performance. We’re putting the spotlight where it belongs—on you. New Public Announcer Voices

MLB® The Show™ 25 is groundbreaking in terms of our public address announcers, as we have not only added 2 new voices, but made all 3 selectable for the user, on a game-to-game basis. The voices of the Padres, Alex Miniak, will remain a staple of our game in all modes, but we also added the Orioles Adrienne Roberson as well 24-year veteran Renel Brooks-Moon. A combined 50 hours of recording was done to get these pioneers of our sport, in MLB® The Show™ 25.

Robert Flores and Jessica Mendoza join MLB® The Show™ 

Expanding the voices of MLB® The Show™ has been a major priority, and this year, we’re bringing in two of the most recognizable personalities in baseball. Robert Flores from MLB Network and Jessica Mendoza from ESPN are now featured in the Road to the Show Combine, delivering immersive on-camera appearances and in-depth commentary during the drills portion. Their analysis provides a detailed breakdown of your performance, offering insight into what scouts are looking for as you take your first steps toward the big leagues!

Negro Leagues Season 3 

We’re once again honoring Negro League Baseball in MLB® The Show™ 25, expanding on the powerful storytelling that makes this experience so special. In addition to the incredible narration by Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, we’ve added even more commentary and presentation elements to bring these legendary stories to life. Boog Sciambi and Chris Singleton provide fresh insights, diving into the history, impact, and greatness of these players, ensuring their legacies continue to be celebrated in new and meaningful ways.

Audio Improvements

If presentation is the heart of immersion in our game, then crowd audio is the pulse that brings it to life. The roar of the crowd, the rise and fall of chants—this is baseball’s rhythm, surging with anticipation and settling in moments of relief. Whether on the field or in the bleachers, each sound marks a moment in time. That’s what makes baseball the best-sounding sport in the world.

This year, we’ve taken that passion to new heights in MLB® The Show™ 25. In addition to unique crowd sets for high school, college, MiLB, MLB®, and the MLB® Postseason™, we’ve introduced emitter-based crowd spatialization. This means that cheers and chants don’t just play—they come from specific sections of the stadium, making every moment feel more alive. Whether you’re on the field, in the bleachers, or in the dugout, the energy surrounds you. To deepen realism and immersion, we’ve also expanded our library of team and player-specific fan yells, chants, and stadium sound effects.

Our audio team was thrilled to craft unique, authentic soundscapes for high school and college baseball as part of our expanded Road to the Show experience. Some of the highlights include metal bats, chain link fences as well as the high school and college crowd atmospheres. We loved the challenge of making these environments feel distinct from professional baseball, ensuring that every stage of your journey sounds as dynamic as it feels. Baseball is a journey, and sound is an essential part of that experience. As you progress from high school to college and beyond, we hope you feel the excitement, intensity, and passion of every moment—just like we did while creating it.
