The Extreme Program returns in MLB® The Show™ 23

The Extreme Program, available in Other Programs, is back and it’s bringing some of the most extreme content to MLB The Show 23. Complete extremely challenging Moments and Missions, a Showdown, a Conquest Map, and, for the first time, a Mini Seasons Challenge, as well as an optional Collection found in the Event to earn progress in the Extreme Program. For your extreme efforts, you’ll earn a (Core Set) Home Run Derby Series Ken Griffey Jr. (99 OVR) as well as the following extreme rewards:

  • All-Star Game Series Ketel Marte, 2B Arizona Diamondbacks (99 OVR)
  • Incognito Series Billy “Billy the Kid” Wagner, CP Philadelphia Phillies (99 OVR)

Extreme Program Showdown

Earn additional progress in the Extreme Program by facing-off against one of, if not the, most extreme hurlers ever to step on the mound as you take on Final Boss – Randy “The Big Unit” Johnson in the Extreme Showdown.

Extreme Conquest Map

Gain even more progression towards the Extreme Program, along with Packs and Stubs, by finishing off the strongholds for each of the 30 MLB teams on All-Star, Hall of Fame, or Legend difficulty in the Extreme Conquest Map.

Turn It Up a Notch Event

Try your hand at the Turn It Up a Notch Event to add Prime Series Bruce Sutter (95 OVR) at 5 wins and Awards Series Tom Glavine (97 OVR) at 20 wins to your Diamond Dynasty lineup. Earn 12 wins in a single Event entry, before a double elimination in that entry, to get your mitts on All-Star Game Series Javier Baez (99 OVR).

Optional Collection – Collect Prime Series Bruce Sutter, Awards Series Tom Glavine, and All-Star Game Series Javier Baez to earn progression in the Extreme Program.

Mini Seasons Extreme Challenge

Build an extremely effective squad to take on the best of the best the Global Baseball League has to offer in the Mini Seasons Extreme Challenge. Complete 28 regular season, 3-inning games and go on to win the GBL Championship to earn the Mini Seasons Extreme Bundle featuring 1 Extreme Championship Banner, 15 The Show Packs, 1 Chase Pack 5, and 3 Mini Seasons Extreme Vouchers that can be applied towards additional progress in the Extreme Program.

July Topps Now Week 2 Moments

Step up to the plate as Joey Votto when he hit his 350th career home run or take the mound as Nick Pivetta when he racked up 13 strikeouts setting the Red Sox single-game strikeout record for a reliever.
