New 5th Inning Program and Trade Deadline Roster Updates
The 5th Inning Program is here and it’s got plenty of new content to keep you busy in MLB The Show 21. So dust off your cleats, step up to the plate and let’s get right into it! First up, get ready to take on some of the greatest to ever play the game as Signature Vladimir Guerrero, Milestone Nolan Ryan and Prime Joe Morgan make their debut as your 5th Inning Program Bosses. You can earn the Boss choice pack by earning 350,000 XP and then you have a huge decision to make – who do you choose for your Diamond Dynasty squad?
5th Inning Collection – Previous Bosses
Looking to get a jump on your progress in the 5th Inning Program? Then you’re in luck! Earn 50,000 XP towards the 5th Inning Program by collecting the 4th Inning Bosses (Future Stars Wander Franco, Milestone Christy Mathewson and Awards Eddie Murray) with the 5th Inning Collection – Previous Bosses.
5th Inning Conquest Map – Roman Numeral V
Veni, vidi, vici! (Translation: I came, I saw, I conquered) Let this be your motto as you take on the 5th Inning Conquest Map – Roman Numeral V. Although, that Diamond is not guaranteed to be the Awards Manny Machado player item. The Headliners Set 27 Pack is available now in The Show Shop for 7,500 Stubs and is limited to 5 packs per player.
Roster Attributes Update and Trade Deadline
Roster Attributes Updates are back! Today’s Roster Attributes Update not only bring attribute upgrades and downgrades but trade deadline moves as well. The trade deadline is today and we’re watching the wire for major trades that will impact the rosters which we’ll be rolling out in-game as soon as we can after they’ve been officially announced.
Additionally, this Roster Update includes some big re-ratings for existing player items including changes to Speed and Fielding ratings for hitters as well as changes to Stamina, HR/9 and Pitching Clutch for pitchers.
Going forward, Roster Updates will happen weekly throughout the season, and Roster Attributes Updates will occur every other week. Until the next update though, check out today’s Roster Attributes Update to find out which of your favorites went Diamond or Gold.
