October 7th, 2021

September baseball is known for players taking it up a notch to help their team reach the Postseason. And this season was no different and we saw some amazing performances from players that propelled their team in the pursuit of the World Series. To celebrate these player performances, we have the September Monthly Awards.

Lightning Tyler O’Neill

Tyler O’Neill was a key contributor in the Cardinals’ 17 game winning streak which helped them secure a Wild Card berth. The Cardinals left fielder batted .328/.377/.731 with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs, 31 runs scored, and a 1.108 OPS in which led the National League in September and October.

Other September Monthly Awards winners include Lourdes Gurriel Jr. from the Blue Jays, Eugenio Suárez and Lucas Sims from the Reds, Ranger Suárez from the Phillies, Ian Happ and Adbert Alzolay from the Cubs, Austin Hays from the Orioles, and Camilo Doval of the Giants.
