3rd Inning Player Program – Breakout Juan Marichal
The latest 3rd Inning Player Program is live, in addition to a new Roster Update that crowns 4 new Diamonds, and let’s not forget about our recently released May Monthly Awards Program. To start things off, say hola to “The Dominican Dandy” in the Breakout Juan Marichal Player Program, which brings new missions and moments to help you earn XP and rewards in MLB The Show’s 3rd Inning Program.
May Monthly Awards
The newest Monthly Awards Program highlights the players that went above and beyond throughout the month of May, helping their teams to find their form heading into summer. Head over to Diamond Dynasty to complete Missions, Moments and Collections in order to add the LIGHTNING Marcus Semien to your roster. This second baseman’s May batting average came in at .368 and helped to net him an incredible 8 home runs. He joins the likes of Byron Buxton as the second LIGHTNING player in MLB The Show 21 but he definitely won’t be the last. So keep your eyes open for what’s coming down the line in future Monthly Awards.

Similar to previous Headliner Packs, this pack contains 1:10 odds of pulling a Diamond. Although, that Diamond is not guaranteed to be the featured 2nd Half Heroes Ron Guidry player item. The Headliners Set 17 Pack is available now in The Show Shop for 7,500 Stubs and is limited to 5 packs per player.
Roster Attributes Update
Today’s Roster Attributes Update bumps a new crop of player items to Diamond and Gold in MLB The Show 21. Roster Updates will happen weekly throughout the season, and Roster Attributes Updates occur every other week.
