It’s that time of year again, and MLB The Show has conjured up some petrifying rewards for your efforts in two all-new Trick & Treat Programs. We know what you’re thinking… “Trick & Treat? That can’t be right! It’s Trick or Treat.” Nope, you read that correctly. Get ready to sink your fangs in two separate Programs with their own spookily special rewards!
To start, we’ve laid to rest the standard approach to Programs this time around for a frightful change of pace. In both, collect Vouchers by playing multiple modes in Diamond Dynasty to earn progress in each Program. Before you go crying to your “mummy,” let’s talk about how these brand-new Programs work.
In the Trick Program, look for 13 Mystery Missions hidden across multiple modes of Diamond Dynasty, including a Showdown. As you complete those hidden Missions, you can earn Postseason Series Triston McKenzie, Finest Series Patrick Wisdom, and Finest Series Patrick Sandoval, along with Packs, Stubs, XP, and more rewards.
In the Treat Program, add Postseason Series Tyler Anderson, Finest Series Jake Cronenworth, Milestone Series Mike Yastrzemski, and Postseason Series Tyler Matzek as an awesome “Treat” to your lineup as well as more Packs, Stubs, XP, and additional rewards, by taking on 13 Mystery Missions, including a Conquest Map, within numerous Diamond Dynasty modes.
Do you have what it takes to complete the Trick & Treat Programs in MLB The Show 23? I guess we’ll find out!
Select 7 Diamond batters to lead your Showdown squad, then take on Final Boss – Triston McKenzie to earn Vouchers for progression in the Trick Program.
Carve your way through the competition in the Jack-O’-Lantern Conquest Map to earn Vouchers that you can redeem for progress in the Trick Program as well as Packs, Stubs, XP, and other rewards.
Congratulations to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers who are headed to the 2023 MLB World Series! Before finding out who is the best-of-the-best this season, relive the most recent Postseason performances that brought us to this point in the Championship Series Program available today in MLB The Show 23.
Play in Moments highlighting the most impactful instances that helped define each series and had fans on the edge of their seats. Take the mound with Brandon Pfaadt (99 OVR) as he became the first pitcher in Postseason history to record back-to-back starts without allowing a run or walk in his 5.2 shutout innings during Game 3 of the NLCS or step to the plate as Adolis Garcia (99 OVR) when he launched a grand slam to clinch game 6 of the ALCS and force a game 7. Re-create these, and other spectacular Moments, to start your progression in the Program.
Continue your progress by completing Missions, including PXP, repeatable Single Player and Online Stat Missions, as well as an Optional “Game 7” Mission, to get your mitts on Jonah Heim (99 OVR) and Alek Thomas (99 OVR). Then, take on the Championship Series Conquest Map for even more Program Points helping you to earn Ryan Pressly (99 OVR) and Kyle Schwarber (99 OVR).
The Optional Mini Seasons 2023 Postseason Voucher Exchange and Event Collection provide more opportunities for progression in the Program to add Aaron Nola (99 OVR), Jeff Hoffman (99 OVR), and J.T. Realmuto (99 OVR) to your Diamond Dynasty squad.
Take turns attacking territories, stealing your opponents’ fans, reinforcing your territories, and moving your fans to control the Championship Series Conquest Map and earn additional progress in the Program along with Packs, Stubs, and XP.
Load up your roster with brawny “bat”-ters then swing for the fences in the Moonshot: Monster Smash Event to earn Home Run Derby Series Trey Mancini (98 OVR) at 5 wins, HRD Series David Wright (99 OVR) at 20 wins, and HRD Series Andre Dawson (99 OVR) for earning 12 wins in one entry (12-1 or 12-0) before double elimination.
Earn 2X XP, from gameplay in any mode of MLB The Show 23, towards the Season 4 XP Reward Path during Double XP Days starting today and running until Tuesday (10/31) at approximately 11:55 AM PT. Play your favorite modes and earn twice the XP to help you get your hands on the Season 4 XP Path Rewards before they’re gone.
Earn official gear like bats, balls, and jerseys authentically signed by some of your favorite Postseason players by playing Challenge of the Week 31 available in Quick Play.
