Quick update on Twitch Drops. We found an issue related to Drops that wasn’t found in our initial testing and have to delay Drops until this is resolved. The stream will still happen at 11:30 AM PT, just without Drops on Twitch. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We are however planning on doing more Drops Enabled streams to celebrate the Postseason, so stay tuned for time and dates.
For all of our fans watching MLB® THE SHOW™ 21 over on Twitch, we are excited to announce that Twitch Drops are back!
Twitch Drops is a program that rewards you for watching streamers playing MLB® THE SHOW™ 21 on Twitch, and gives you packs to open in the game.
Things are a little different this year, so be sure to read all the instructions below on the steps needed to link your Twitch and MLB The Show accounts. Once linked, this will enable you to earn Twitch Drops, which are pack rewards after you watch “Drops Enabled” streams.
Yes, you need to create or login into your master account on TheShow.com that is used for cross-platform linking. This account is how you will link your Twitch account to receive Twitch Drops packs in your PlayStation or Xbox game account.
